Originally founded in 1986 Portuguese Spanish Translations has provided quality literary translations services specialising in the field of Portuguese and Spanish to publishers and corporate clients for more than two decades.

Paul Southern gained his in-depth knowledge of the Portuguese and Spanish languages while studying in Portugal at the Universidade de Coimbra and in Spain at the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela. After graduating from Leeds University with a degree in Portuguese and Spanish he began teaching in the UK prior to moving to Bermuda where he taught Portuguese at Bermuda College before going on to teach in Southern Africa.

Paul is a member of the Society of Authors and has translated numerous books and is himself the author of articles and books on topics relating to Portugal and Spain’s involvement in the African continent.
